Analysts say Nintendo is unlikely to follow Sony, at least the NS2 generation will still release physical games

After Sony announced that it would stop producing physical discs for new PS games starting in 2028, market research firm Circana analyst Mat Piscatella said in an interview with VGC that he did not think Nintendo would follow Sony's lead and follow up on this strategy, at least for the NS2 generation.
