Shigeru Miyamoto wants to expand Nintendo IP beyond video games
At a recent investor Q&A session held by Nintendo, President Shuntaro Furukawa said that the strategy of expanding brand influence through movies, theme parks and various non-game businesses will continue to advance in the NS2 era. Shigeru Miyamoto, executive researcher and director of Nintendo, added that the relationship with the late former company began as early as 15 years ago.
